Grandmommy loves the bathing of a baby, I’m sure everyone would, but not everyone knows the amazing feeling and then of course some baths turn into screaming but not for long because we all love a good soaking.
Patience is the tool you teach your children by your own actions. If you have lots of it you are most likely a gentle soul. Patience is in the tool box of non-hurting. Along with loving others, compassion, understanding and worthiness.
Children need these tools when life tries to trip them up and make them fuss. If they have not been practicing patience they may even hurt us, and wow, hey we are doing all we can to make things great for them…”sacrifices unlimited” could be written across our foreheads.
Guess what, if we teach our children to practice patience, then they will be forgiving and when we do some not so nice stuff…like losing our temper because we forgot our own practice that day; So as you see, it works in both ways.
Mommies are amazing beings some with more patience than others, it just depend on the training they had in their childhood. It all boils down like a pot left on a hot stove unnoticed, we all need to have a spa once in awhile, relax take care of this old worn out body that was once like an iridescent feather.
