These words of wisdom were spoken when she was three years small, but she is now tall and still thinking deep thoughts.
As we grow older we may form a bad habit of thinking we are limited and inadequate. Sometimes we do it because we need some sympathy or we fool ourselves into believing this is who we are therefore we have a miserable life.
Our parents didn’t intentionally not give us tools to be happy, they were doing the best they could, just as we are doing with our own children and with the child within ourselves.
Before bed is a good time to talk with children about thoughts they may have had during the day that upset them, helping them have a bit of fun, learning to become aware of the thoughts that keep popping up, it will benefit them throughout life.
